Originally created in the 1950's in commemoration of Queen Elizabeth the second, the Rose Queen Elizabeth is a reliable floribunda rose producing large, regal double blooms in vivid pink. With a tall upright habit and delicate fragrance, this rose bush makes a beautiful standalone specimen, or can be grown as a stunning ornamental hedge as illustrated. Hardy and robust, the Queen Elizabeth Rose has excellent resistance to disease and can thrive even in seemingly inhospitable locations making it an excellent choice for gardeners of all levels of expertise. Plant 50cm apart. Loose rooted plants supplied. Please note: Fragrant rose's perfume is usually the most potent on warm, sunny days, while sat in moist soil. Its important to imitate these conditions, as it will release the fragrant chemicals within the flowers. High humidity increases the longevity of the fragrance as it reduces the chance of the chemicals evaporating.
